Collaboration with the photographer Ziv Koren.
A three-dimensional realist interpretation in rusted metal of a photoshoot taken in Mandelei, Myanmar.
A truly magical moment where a long row of children can be seen running on the longest wooden bridge on earth, the metaphorical meaning of the bridge as a passage between two worlds, the children and birds help create an additional dimension to this project.
The colorful picture is "translated" in a sense to the three-dimensional project.
The birds are a recurrent motif in "glyphs" designs, with the figurative shapes and bridge that create a very moving transition- the possibility of reaching and moving from one end to the other while being invited to explore and discover what lies on the other end. There is a metaphorical symbolism of the connection between each edge, bank of river and two worlds.
The unique collaboration in itself of two artists and the use of different materials, light and dark that is used by Koren in the photo shoots and the powerful metal used by "glyphs", the delicate pieces that create the breaking that can able the light to seep through are what made the realistic art become fresh and innovative during the wonderful documentary.
